CRYPTANTHUS, FERNS AND TILLANDSIAS

Since most of these plants are acquired from various growers here in central Florida they may take up to eight weeks to be sent out.  Please be patient and you will receive nice quality plants.

CRYPTANTHUS OR "EARTH STARS" Members of the bromeliad family these plants enjoy a well lighted location but not full sun to bring out the unusual colors and patterns that they display. Let the soil dry slightly between waterings.  Some are sent as "pups" that are easy to grow and root up in necessary.

FERNS All of the ferns offered here generally require shade or moderate light levels and like to be kept moist to the point of almost drying. Cooler temperatures are best. All are sold as nice size four inch pots.

TILLANDSIA  "AIR PLANTS" Sort of a misleading name as some think that the plants will survive on just air. This is untrue. They do like to be spray misted a few times a week and also enjoy a well-lighted location. They do not get potted in soil, this is important. We send a complete care sheet with each purchase to help you along. Please list substitutes as all species are not always in stock at the same time.
